Each paragraph of the main body should contain one main point. It should introduce the point and then explain its relevance to the title. it should then conclude on the overall contribution of the point to the question being asked in the title.
Conclusion
The conclusion should assess what the individual points examined show or present in terms of an overall conclusion on the question outlined in the title.

Never personalise a history essay by using words such as 'I' 'my' or 'we'. The facts show should be used rather than 'having studied the facts I think'.
